A native of southern Michigan, Rich has studied and painted in oils for over 45 years.  A long time  member of Oil Painters of America,  the Lenawee Council for the Visual Arts and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters's 

​Society.

Richard welcomes the renewed appreciation of representational painting.  His paintings while embracing realism, reflect his own  unique  style and ​interpretation with an emphasis on values, shapes, edges and color as light.   ​​Richard paints full time.   His studio is located in Addison, MI.  His work has been purchased by  both private and commercial collectors.  Rich is represented by Eastend Studio and Gallery, Marshall, MI.
